State Competition

Last year at the state meet at West Monroe High School the Parkway Panthers managed just 5 points, after Matt Harper finished 2nd in the 275 weight class.  This year the Panthers double their output.  Matt Harper took home the state championship in the Super Heavy Weight (SHW) division gaining the Panthers 7 points.  Also senior Chris Conly placed 4th and freshman Ray Cox came in 5th earning Parkway 1 and 2 points respectively.  Mickel Smith finished 6th place just 10 lbs out of the points. Also, freshman Landon Smart in his first year with the Panthers powerlifting squad set many personal records.
